The hotel is located on the corner of cClle Mesoneros Romanos, round the corner from Gran Vía 33, quite near calle Preciados. It is also close to Madrid's main monuments and places of tourist interest, such as the Plaza de Callao, the Puerta del Sol and the Plaza de España.

The High Tech Avenida Hotel is housed in a renovated 1930s terraced building. The ultra-modern lobby is decorated in chic grey and white tones, yet also manages to be friendly and inviting, with lots of natural light. The 40 good-sized guestrooms are characterised by simple, modern design with ebony and red furniture, white walls and dark parquet floors. All are clean and well maintained, as are the functional en suite bathrooms, which have no baths but feature hydro massage showers. Decorated in similar red and black tones, the breakfast room is the venue for a fresh Continental buffet every morning.
